If you’re ready to step back in time and experience the rich history of Turkey, then the Perge, Aspendos, and Side Tour is an absolute must! With Fairy Stone Travel, we offer you the perfect opportunity to explore some of the most iconic ancient ruins in the Mediterranean region. Each of these historical sites offers a unique glimpse into Turkey’s rich cultural heritage, and our carefully crafted tour ensures you’ll experience it all in comfort and style.

Discover the Wonders of Perge

The first stop on our Perge, Aspendos, and Side Tour is the ancient city of Perge. Once a thriving metropolis, Perge is one of the most well-preserved ancient cities in the region. As you walk through the city’s impressive ruins, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped straight into history. From the grand Roman gates to the extensive city walls, the sheer scale of the city will leave you in awe.

One of the highlights of Perge is the Roman Theater, which still stands proudly and showcases incredible acoustics. Imagine what it must have been like for ancient audiences to witness performances in such a magnificent structure. The stadium, where the Greeks once competed in athletic games, is another fascinating site, with its well-preserved seating areas and historical significance.

Experience the Majesty of Aspendos

Next, we’ll take you to Aspendos, home to one of the best-preserved Roman theaters in the world. Dating back to the 2nd century AD, the Aspendos Theater could hold up to 15,000 spectators and was once a center for dramatic performances, gladiator fights, and other events. The theater’s incredible acoustics and architecture are still admired by visitors today, and it’s easy to see why this is one of the most photographed sites in Turkey.

In addition to the theater, Aspendos boasts several other historical landmarks, including the ancient aqueducts that were used to transport water to the city, and the Basilica which was once a religious and cultural hub. Aspendos is truly a gem for history enthusiasts, offering a rare chance to witness Roman architectural brilliance in person.

Uncover the Beauty of Side

Our final stop on the Perge, Aspendos, and Side Tour takes us to the charming town of Side, where history blends seamlessly with natural beauty. Side was once a major port city and is home to a variety of fascinating ruins, including the Temple of Apollo, which stands dramatically against the backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea. The temple’s columns are an iconic sight, offering a stunning photo opportunity.

Another must-see in Side is the Roman Theater, which, like the one in Aspendos, still stands as a testament to ancient engineering and design. But what sets the Side Theater apart is its location, perched on a hill with breathtaking views of the coastline. You’ll also get the chance to explore the ancient harbor, where ships once docked, and stroll through the charming streets of Side’s old town, where you can shop for souvenirs or enjoy a relaxing meal.
